According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, a hunter died after a deer attack in Arkansas.

"I've worked for the Game and Fish Commission for 20 years, and that's the weirdest thing that has happened," said Keith Stephens, head of communications for N3 affiliate Y3 in Springfield, Missouri. told.

According to the station, the victim, 66-year-old Thomas Alexander, shot a mute with a mouse loader while hunting near Elleville, Arkansas.

A hunter was killed after a deer attack in Marion County, Arkansas.
"I don't know how long he left her there, but he went to check it out," Stephens told the station. "And obviously it wasn't."

"It came back, and he had a lot of puncture wounds on his body," Stephens said.

Alexander himself was able to call his family, who contacted emergency responders.
Alexander died at the hospital. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said it was unclear who died of the puncture wounds.

"It is my understanding that there will be no post-mortem, so we can never know what really happened," Stephens said.

Chief Communications said a man was trapped by deer grinders in Ashley County about four years ago. In this case, the person survived.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission advises hunters to make sure the deer don't move for about 30 minutes.
